Black Dice pleased with ‘Ship Load’

Dancehall artiste Black Dice is amped up at the positive reception to his latest single, Ship Load.

"The single started from a voice note coming out of my hardship and now it's turning into something great. It's like a dream come true because the reception for Ship Load has been amazing and it has inspired a lot of youths not to give up and believe in their dreams," said the artiste, whose given name is Mchuel Prince.

"The song has been getting a lot of airplay and been on many mixes and making its way into dancehall," he added. The video for Ship Load, which was released on the Bulby Records and Callifa Music imprints, has also been released on Black Dice's VEVO channel.

Black Dice inked a deal with Bulby Records and he has been collaborating with Callifa Music as he carves out his street rep as an emerging powerhouse in dancehall. However, he has also earned a reputation as a producer. He has earned recognition for his production skills with projects including Dilly Dally, Daddy Yuh Gone and Thank God We Win. He has also produced singles with several artistes such as Shye, Lemonade, Big Pop and MIR Crew.

"Nothing in life comes easy, your nose affi run and we accepted the challenge. And look at greatness now," he said.

Black Dice is working on an EP , but his team is concentrating on blitzing the market with singles.

"I am coming to take my place in the business," he said.
