Woman robbed at knifepoint in her home
Twenty-six-year-old Renaldo Duncan, of Olympic Way, Kingston 11, has been charged with robbery with aggravation, housebreaking and larceny and assault occasioning actual bodily harm following an incident in Portmore, St Catherine, on November 4.
Reports are that between 7 a.m. and 4 p.m., a woman returned to her house and saw Duncan who brandished a knife and demanded her handbag. A tussle ensued between them, during which she fell to the ground and was injured. Duncan then proceeded to rob her of her money. He then ransacked the house and stole a television and an undetermined sum of money before escaping in the area.
Following investigations, Duncan was arrested on November 22, and subsequently charged after a caution statement and a question-and-answer session in the presence of his attorney. His court date is being finalised.
