Trial of Lila Ike and co-accused set for February
Entertainer Alecia 'Lila Ike' Gray and her co accused Shennelle Moore will stand trial on February 12, 2026 in the St Catherine Parish Court.
The date was scheduled on Thursday, November 14, 2025 when the matter was mentioned before Acting Senior Parish Court Judge Janelle Nelson Gayle.
The court was told that the case file remains incomplete because the statement of the corroborating officer is still outstanding. The Clerk of Courts explained that the officer has not resumed duties since the death of his father.
Both women had their bails extended.
Allegations are that on July 24, 2025, police personnel were on patrol along the Nelson Mandela Highway in St Catherine when an SUV driven by Gray committed a breach of the Road Traffic Act. The vehicle was stopped and the observation was explained to the occupants.
The women reportedly became boisterous and were arrested and charged after failing to comply with instructions to behave properly. They have appeared before the court several times and have maintained their innocence.
